Pre-Treatment
Avoid sun exposure, exfoliants, retinoids, and active skincare for two weeks before treatment. Discontinue blood-thinning medications when approved by your provider. Arrive with clean skin and disclose any history of cold sores, pigmentation disorders, or recent procedures. Pre-treatment antiviral medication may be required.
Post-Treatment
Expect redness, peeling, swelling, and crusting as the skin heals over several days to weeks. Keep the skin moist with approved ointments and avoid picking or exfoliating. Avoid sun exposure entirely until fully healed, and use high-SPF sunscreen once skin barrier is restored. Follow all aftercare instructions precisely to support proper healing and minimize risk of pigmentation or scarring.
